For this studio newborn session, Weaver came to see me at 7 weeks old. He was born early, so he was only about 7 lbs when it was time for pictures! He was so photogenic and I was able to do a lot of different setups with him. I love the creamy, neutral colors in the first two setups. This session was done at the beginning of December, so of course there has to be some Christmas shots! I used a white dough bowl and surrounded it was some garland. Mom brought the most adorable Santa outfit and it all went together perfectly!

Mom wanted some these shots for their Christmas card and we worked HARD to get them. You’d never know we tried for an hour to get him to stay asleep before we got these photos. But hey, it was #worthit.
Detail shots are so important to get for newborn sessions. Their little toes and fingers will only stay that way for a minute and it’s so special to capture them.
Mom and dad requested this cute little moon and stars because they always tell him, “I love you to the moon and back.” His little night cap was just too adorable!
I absolutely love family shots during a studio newborn session! I love seeing how smitten parents are over their new little baby.
