A Maternity Session to Remember
This maternity photo session in Hoover offered a pleasant surprise. Most maternity sessions are similar in location and landscape. Many are done in open fields at sundown or near a tree line with charming greenery. For Kelsey’s session, we chose to use a natural, yet rare, feature… water! The reflections the water offered were breathtaking and full of beauty. The ripples in the water, just off the pier, were lovely! I love when clients are open to trying new things, and this session was full of new opportunities with amazing results!
A Pleasant Surprise on the Water!
Photography has taught me many things over the years. One of those things is to expect the unexpected! As we were starting this maternity session, it began to rain. Clients are always afraid of the rain. They worry that rain will ruin their photo session. Kelsey braved the rain, and I am so glad that she did! While we were shooting, we had sun, rain and a double rainbow! A session like this is simply unheard of. Because she embraced the opportunity to shoot in the rain, Kelsey was given some amazing, and very original, photos to treasure for a lifetime. Maternity sessions in the rain are unbelievable!
